If you send us your story through the form on our Share Your Story page, you keep ownership of what you wrote. By sending it you give us permission to publish it on this site, in whole or in part, and to edit it for length and clarity, and to use it or short excerpts from it in our own marketing, for example in an advertisement or a social media post. Whenever we publish or excerpt a story we change names and identifying details. We do not publish the email address you give us. Please only send your own story, and only if you are 18 or older. If you change your mind, write to us and we will take it down.
